Emad Alsaidi has over twenty seven years of professional career experience in the fields of Civil Engineering, Traffic, and Transportation Engineering, and engineering consultant service. Dr. Alsaidi is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) currently registered in Alberta with APEGA, British Columbia with EGBC, and Saskatchewan with APEGS as well as a licensed Professional Civil Engineer registered in the State of Michigan, USA. Dr. Alsaidi is the President / Managing Principal of Addoz Engineering Inc.
Dr. Alsaidi is a transportation engineering and planning director with many years of experience in this field. He is knowledgeable in a verity of fields including transportation network planning, development planning, traffic operations, and transportation engineering. Dr. Alsaidi served as a traffic engineer and a senior transportation engineer for local governments and private clients. He completed many infrastructure engineering designs for large public works projects in major world cities. As a private consultant, he completed more than 100 traffic impact assessments and transportation planning studies. Dr. Alsaidi has extensive knowledge of functional planning, network planning, traffic signal design and operations reviews, parking studies, and traffic calming & safety. Dr. Alsaidi has long years of experience working with variety of software packages including Microsoft office, Synchro, SimTraffic, Sidra Intersections, Microstation, and Highway Capacity Software (HCS).
